There's Something about Maria...
Maria landed her second audition as a series regular on the Knowledge Network produced series, KidZone. From there, she appeared in numerous commercials, student, and independent films, and TV shows like Smallville, The L Word, Blade, and The 4400.
After the birth of her daughters, Maria transitioned from working on camera, to behind the mic...her happy place.
Clients like IBM, Walmart, Martha Stewart Weddings, Co-op, University of Toronto, and EB Horsman & Son, have all trusted Maria to get their message across authentically...whether it be in form of promotional material, website videos, eLearning, explainer videos, or phone messages.
Working alongside a talented audio engineer, clients can be confident Maria's audio is broadcast quality.
As a Filipino/Greek Canadian gal, Maria can also offer her clients a light Filipino accent, when diverse voices are sought out.
Maria has studied at The Voice Shop in New York City, On the Mic in Vancouver, and has been coached by Emmy award winning director, Stevie Vallance.
When she's not working behind the mic, Maria can be found walking her sweet Aussie/Border/Husky mix, Hemi, or trying out a new coffee shop, in hunt for the perfect espresso. A book of poetry, as well as a picture book manuscript are in the works.
Maria is based in a beautiful city by the sea in British Columbia, Canada
