Hi, I’m Maria — a professional Vancouver voice actor providing commercial voice over, corporate narration, eLearning, and IVR services for clients across Canada, the U.S., and worldwide.
I began my career as an on-camera actor, starring as a series regular on KidZone on the Knowledge Network. After more than a decade on screen, I transitioned fully into voice over — and found my creative home behind the mic.
Today, I specialize in authentic, conversational voice over that helps brands connect with audiences in a real, human way. My sound is warm, relatable, and natural — ideal for commercial campaigns, digital advertising, corporate videos, and training content.
From my broadcast-quality home studio in BC, I deliver clean, production-ready audio with fast turnaround. I collaborate with a professional BC-based audio engineer to ensure every recording meets the highest technical standards.
I’ve trained with industry leaders including Michael Dobson and Emmy Award winner Stevie Vallance. My background in acting gives me a strong sense of timing, storytelling, and emotional authenticity — skills that translate seamlessly into compelling voice over performances.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me out for long walks and hikes with my dog, heading to spin class (almost on the daily), exploring great restaurants, searching for the perfect aesthetic coffee spot, baking a sweet treat, or spending time with my beautiful family and friends. That love of connection and real-life moments is something I bring into every script I read.
